1. Copyright

Plans, drawings and other material submitted to a Planning Authority or DPEA are protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Any other proposed use of the material is subject to the prior permission of the copyright owner.

The information and publications on the Scottish Government's website are subject to Crown Copyright. Material may be reproduced without formal permission or charge for research, private study or internal use within an organisation, subject to the source and copyright status being acknowledged. This is subject to the material being reproduced accurately and not used in a misleading context. For other use or if in doubt, further information is available from www.hmso.gov.uk/copyright.htm. 2. Data Protection - General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018

DPEA will process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. DPEA will only use the information for the purposes of dealing with and considering the appeal or other casework and only publish the information for as long as reasonably necessary. For completed appeals and other casework this is usually for a period of 12 weeks after the date of the final decision.

After the 12 week period has expired the documentation you have submitted and any personal information contained therein will be retained for a period of ten years in line with the Scottish Government file retention policy.

Documentation that is abusive, indecent, unlawful or defamatory is not displayed. However, individuals must take personal responsibility for the comments they submit.

3. Data accuracy

Any person wishing to rely on the information published on this web site should satisfy themselves that the data is both complete and accurate. Every effort is made to ensure that the information published is up to date and correct but the Government cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies.
